Meh. Over the top plot, awful awful characters, and a letdown of an ending.
Graphic: Suicide
Moderate: Infidelity, Murder
This one took me a couple of chapters before I got sucked into it, but wow, what a haunting, clever, gothic story.
The fact that the MC is never given a name really added to the story and the ending had me 🤯 👀
Note: There were a couple of problematic scenes, which I guess at the time wouldn’t have come across that way, but were cringe and uncomfortable to read in the modern day.

What a fantastic audiobook!!
The cast of characters was great and Jacob took me on a rollercoaster of laughing and crying, and my goodness, just a fantastic read.
Also, while debating on if I purchase the audio or physical of this book (after a great listen on Libby), I’ve come to realize this is a graphic novel?!

Was not prepared for this to be a gut-wrenching story about sisterhood 🥲
The mystery wasn’t the most advanced when you really get down to it, but the feels and the atmosphere were enough for me to enjoy this one!

Another fantastic domestic suspense from Sally Hepworth! Loved the alternating POVs and timelines, and I found the setting (& catalyst) to be really unique.

Damn good debut right here!!
I loved the mixed media format and really found myself falling in love with the characters. I also could 👏🏻 not 👏🏻 put 👏🏻 it 👏🏻 down!
I wish there was a bit more 90s nostalgia, but loved it just the same!

This was such a unique horror book with some badass characters, buuuuut it lacked a lot of depth.
Coming in at under 250 pages, it may be no surprise that my biggest issue with this book is that everything happened very quickly - I wish there was more to the character development, discovery, and planning. This one could have been an absolute CHONK of a book and it would have benefitted greatly.
However, for a quick horror book outside of the horror norms you're used to seeing, this one definitely fits the bill!

Welcome to Dunder Mifflin: The Ultimate Oral History of The Office
Brian Baumgartner, Ben Silverman
Listened to this on audio and the use of voice actors (outside of Brian) for each of the cast and crew members made it a little confusing at times, but overall a really enjoyable listen!
I knew a lot of the info already from other books and podcasts, but I still managed to glean some new nuggets from this one! And it was interesting to hear more info on the 2007 writers strike based on the current status of Hollywood 🙃
