I switched to the audio a chapter in and that was a good choice!!

This book honestly felt very similar to the podcast, just with more history and science thrown in, which made it great as a listen, but a little less exciting as a read.

Overall, very well-researched and interesting stories!

This one started off really strong with a lot of intriguing secrets and characters, but it fell off a bit by the halfway point.

*I received an early copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review*

Holy cow! This book was impossible to put down, absolutely bonkers, and had some fantastic characters to root for!

As a non-gamer, I still managed to get fully sucked into the game in this story and the twists and suspense kept me on my toes.

A fantastic thriller for YA fans!

A powerful and heartbreaking story.

The found family aspect was one of the strongest I’ve seen.

Thanks to the publisher for sending me an early copy of this one!

As someone absolutely awed (and terrified) by Mother Nature, I love a good hiking memoir. The author’s anecdotes from his time in the canyon were enjoying to read and, as with most adventure books, the moments of heartache were also really beautiful.

The biggest faults for me were the length and historical references, which made me lose interest in the retelling at points.

Overall, a joy to read!

When Yana finds herself selected for an elite society (and a trip on a megayacht to boot) after graduating high school, she’s surprised but also jumps at the opportunity. However, when bodies start dropping, she must reconnect with her old friend Naya to figure out who the murderer is before it’s too late.

SEASICK by Kristin Cast and Pintip Dunn is a wild and bloody YA thriller!

I loved the yacht setting and the mixed media of the Rumor Has It blog, which slowly revealed character secrets.

I did find the story to be outlandish and a bit rambling as it progressed. There was a lot of promise, but the ultimate development and growth of the characters was lost.

Thanks to Delacrote for an early copy for review!

A fun heisty novel!

Docking a star because it started to drag a little for me around halfway through, but an overall enjoyable book with some great characters and a plot that takes place all over the course of a single day!
