Only Carley Fortune could make me want to eat some oysters.

This one did get a bit redundant at times, but Felix and PEI really sold it for me!

My least favorite of the series, but still a fun time!

Huge thanks to Berkley for sending me a free copy of this book for review!

So Thirsty is modern-day vampires at its finest. At it's core, this is a story about female friendships and how those friends can always see to the root of who you are even as you change and time passes, and all of the messy complexities that come with that.

A cumulative look at aging and the idea of settling, this story was full of as many tender moments as there was flesh.

There's also a hot, brooding, 500-year-old vampire love interest, so...

Already looking forward to Harrison's next release!

I fear this series is just not for me 😬

Another fun adventure featuring the Swifts!

No doubt, this was a very fun classic slasher of a read, but it leaned a bit too much into the campiness for my taste!

I could have seen myself enjoying this one a lot more in my late teens when I was more into fantasy and the enemies to lovers trope, but I just didn’t love this one as much as others have!

Ten years ago, June’s husband Josh drowned a week after they married. Now, newly engaged, June is ready to leave her grief over Josh in the past, but while out in the park, she spots him. Is it possible the first man she loved never really died?

TILL DEATH DO US PART by Laurie Elizabeth Flynn was a fast-paced domestic suspense.

So much of this story centered on vineyards and wine-making, which I found exceptionally fascinating and I really loved the details paid to the New York and Brooklyn setting!

The alternating POVs were engaging and really built up the mystery and intrigue, but I found the twists, while fun, to be a bit of a reach at times.

This was a fine suspense novel, but leaned a little too much on the romance and the unbelievable for me to enjoy it as much as others have.

Thanks to NetGalley and Simon & Schuster for an ARC in exchange for an honest review!

This book is out now.

I loved the disability rep, but the story was not it 🙅🏼‍♀️

When a bestselling author gets hit with some impostor syndrome, she gets drawn into a world she might never be able to escape.

WHEN YOU LEAVE I DISAPPEAR by David Niall Wilson is a novella made up of several stories (that’s as much as I’ll reveal 👀), which I found to be extremely fascinating and done in a way best suited to the shorter format, as it’s much easier to piece together when read over a short period of time.

What we have here is a complex bit of storytelling that really dissects what it means to be a storyteller, while also showcasing the talent and scope that Wilson has as a writer himself.

This is definitely a horror story you must read for yourself!
