While I really want to give this book more stars, it is hard to do so as it took me a month to read. The first half of the book is so slow and hard to keep up with, but once you get about halfway it starts to pick up and the story is just so spectacular.
Instead of doing a million things half way, do one thing all the way.

I read this a Pre-Teen for the first time and fell in love with the young adult high school drama of an outcast Rachel, reminded me of myself. Rereading it now as an adult it still holds up and brings me back to my childhood. Can't wait to read the rest of the series again!!!
A fantastic look into the life of a debutante. It may not be all together correct, but it is definitely entertaining along the way.
