The story was there... but it just didn't execute very well for me. I wish it had, because the story was really good.

Loved the show. As a person who grew up with CO's (Correctional Officers) as parents it is interesting to see the difference of experience from inmates. I'm so glad Piper was able to find a certain peace in the time that she did instead of living in the hate for what happened to get her there.

The first half I have to give a 2 ⭐ rating, lost my interest a couple times but I felt a need to keep going.
The second half I give a 4⭐ rating because it got really intense really quickly and tied some loose strings from the beginning.

HOLY S#!T that ending was unexpected. The whole time edge of the seat. Not necessarily suspense,more of an uncomfortable someone's watching me kind of feeling, then that last chapter went so fast it was crazy.
