Yes, I was a Titanic girly. The love started with the movie (who doesn't love a young Leo and Kate?). But as I got older I started to look into the disaster more and more and became enthralled with how it came to be. This book is amazing if you are interested in more than just the movie going into details about how the idea for the build came, to building the actual ships and even the crew and passengers.

The story gripped me from the very beginning. 

Layla being alive the entire time and having a mental breakdown causing her to be Ellen was not seen at all

and I ended up having to re-read a few pages to make sure I read it right.

It was such a great book, but I just felt like the ending wasn't sufficient for the suspense that was building the whole time. I felt very let down and unfinished.

I've been obsessed with true crime for a long time and the Golden State Killer has been one of those cases that just stick with you. Michelle did such great work trying to find the guy and it's really saddening to know that she never got closure, at least not while alive.

The story was really well written and compelling, I think the only thing that held me back is having knowledge of how employment at a prison works. 

As soon as I read that Brooke had a ‘special relationship’ with one of the inmates I scoffed and said ‘Then how in the hell did you get the job?’ 

I know it’s a work of fiction but I think that little tidbit really held me back from truly enjoying the story. 

 Murder Mystery meets Greek Mythology with a little bit of forced proximity and secret love and LOADS of hot and steamy sex.
