This memoir gave me lots of things to think about when it comes to gender roles and how they hurt everyone (not just Trans people) when they are upheld for too long.

The book is written in a free verse style and I struggled to click with it at times. The author’s writing style wasn’t for me, but that doesn’t mean the book was bad. I liked what I read and may come back to it at another time.
I've been pretty busy with work and unfortunately this book fell to the wayside. I will pick this book up when I have more downtime to focus on it.
