Even barely 10% in, there’s unfortunately more things I don’t like than I do like about this book. Maybe I’ll try again closer to Christmas…

This is the second book I’ve attempted to read by this author,  and once again, I’m bored and have to put the book down. Possibly for good.

In spite of the hype that has surrounded this book, I’m disappointed to be DNF-ing it, as I was anticipating to enjoy it a lot more than I have thus far. I will consider picking it up again next holiday season..

This book just isn’t holding my attention; I can’t relate to the characters and as much as I want to see this book through to the end, I’m thinking I’ll put it down and try again next holiday season…

It’s been eight days and I’m just so bored. I really wanted to like this one, especially as a cat lover, but I just couldn’t connect to the MCs or their romantic dynamic. 

My audiobook loan ran out and there’s a long waiting list - I may have to wait til next year to complete this one.

Couldn’t keep my attention. It took me 10 days to get to the 45% mark, I don’t even want to know how much longer it’ll take me to actually finish the book, so it’s time to DNF. Maybe I’ll try again next fall…

Could sense its potential, but couldn’t quite hold my interest. May attempt to pick this one back up at a later date.
