This maybe one of the best books I’ve ever read. The story is engaging from the very beginning to the very end. The writing style is beautiful and poetic and easy to follow. I could not put this book down.

Cute story. I was a little confused about the world building, but that’s probably on me because I was listening to it while I worked. 

Overall, I really enjoyed it!

Okay this book was SO much better than I thought it was going to be. I love the characters so much and the story is very interesting. The world building is also amazing.

I wanted to like this book so bad. But Sadie and Sam were just so unlikable until about the last 30 pages. 

I get that Sadie had her own problems to work through, but for the last section of the book she’s a 30 year old woman keeping a multi-year grudge on a lifelong friend of hers. It’s ridiculous. 

The only reason I finished this book was because I was curious about how their stories ended. I was really hooked after Marx’s death.

It was an okay read overall. I like the writing style and through there was some unique points in the story.
