Definitely recommend this one on audio. As an introvert, Jessica's story of her year of saying yes honestly terrified me, but she also had a lot of good thoughts on being more open to activities that I hadn't thought of previously.

This book is VERY CUTE and is definitely one I would like to add to my collection. Almost too relatable, like has Chetwynd been watching our home for all of 2020???

As someone who has a business-related degree, I enjoyed listening to the audiobook because it was a nice refresher for finance courses I took years ago. For those without a business/finance background, I'd recommend the print copy as there are action items listed in each chapter. This would be a great gift for a high school or college graduate as it talks about investing and budgeting in an accessible, approachable way.

This is a short, but powerful collection of poems. I marked quite a few poems in my book, especially in part 1. This is Baer's first collection and I sure hope it won't be her last. Plus, who can say no to the beautiful cover on this one??

I think I might have preferred this more in the physical format as I would have preferred to consume it a few essays at a time as it felt really long on audio and sometimes dragged on. However, I did enjoy the essays and poetry, and I especially enjoyed the full cast narration in the audio version.

This book is described as "a refreshingly timely and relatable debut novel" and that is 100% true. I read this book over a lot more days than I needed to simply because I didn't want the book to end. I loved badass Grace Porter and her equally wonderful wife, Yuki Yamamoto. I loved Grace's friends and Yuki's roommates. I love all of the relationships in this book: familial, romantic, and friendships. The characters have so much depth and I want to spend so much more time with them. I need a sequel ASAP, Morgan!!

What a lovely graphic memoir. Manjit takes the reader through the ups and downs of anxiety and depression throughout the different seasons of the year. Her thoughts are very relatable and the illustrations - wow. I hope there will be more from Manjit in the future because I would love to read it.
