I enjoyed this while I was listening to it, but now, three days later, I really can't remember anything significant about this book for this review.

I was hooked from the beginning, partly because she cursed very early on and that gave me a better idea of what kind of book this would be (aka one I would love). This book is perfect for someone who has recently been diagnosed with a chronic illness, but I also gained a lot from it as someone who has had a diagnosis for five years. I also really loved this one on audio and would gladly listen to any other books this narrator has worked on.

WOW. Okay, I am a big fan of the TV show Riverdale. I didn't think it was possible to love these characters any more than I already did, but WOW, this graphic novel. I'll definitely be reading the next volume soon because I need to know what Archie and his friends get into next.

This was a really interesting essay collection, different than what I expected, but in a very good way. I anticipated a lot of the book to be about relationships and marriage, but it was so much more. Ortile talks candidly about immigration, race, and family from a Filipino perspective; I appreciated his insight as I have primarily read about these topics from a Black or Latinx perspective. Definitely recommend this one on audio!

WOW. WOW. WOW. I just want so much more from this book, not because it feels unfinished, but because I love this group of characters so, so much.

The title novella was definitely my favorite. The first few stories were a little tricky on audio and I may have enjoyed them more if I had read them myself.

WOW. I am so glad that this is going to be a series because I love these characters and definitely want to spend more time with them. The illustrations are beautiful and the storyline is really fun. I can't wait to see what comes next in the series.
