I really liked this one! It is a great story of friendship and lessons about winning and losing. I really enjoyed seeing how the characters grew throughout the book and how their friendships evolved as they stepped out of their comfort zones.

HOLY. SHIT. Why did I wait so long to read this? I am all up in my feelings after finishing this one. How is this a debut? How were there so many storylines and yet they were so perfectly intertwined?

God, I forgot how much I love Jenny Lawson. I managed to get a skip-the-line loan from my library and listened to the audiobook and I was laughing out loud so much. I always love how open Jenny is about her chronic illnesses, especially RA since I have it as well. I kept nodding along, especially when she talks about how terrible health insurance can be when it comes to covering much-needed medication. I also loved how she talked about the Covid-19 pandemic and the accommodations that were freely made for everyone, things that are often not offered for disabled/chronically ill folks. This is definitely my favorite of Jenny's books so far!

I really enjoyed this book! I was not previously familiar with Gabrielle, but really enjoyed learning more about her story, especially as a queer woman in media. I found myself nodding along as she discussed her experience with her eating disorder as it was very relatable.

This collection is intimate and so, so beautiful. I especially recommend the audio; the author narrates and this collection is even more beautiful when read by the author.
