I loved the format of this book, exclusively in text messages. Also appreciated the demisexual rep!

I just really, really loved this book and I really, really want more from these characters, but I will settle for more from this author in general. Fantastic debut.

I received a free eARC from Netgalley and Oni Press in exchange for my honest review.

I loved Choose Your Own Adventure books when I was younger, so I was super excited to see this graphic novel adaptation. This format really allows for the story to come alive and the colors were so vivid. The pdf version was a little tricky to read since you are flipping back and forth a lot, but I plan to pick up a copy for my shelves when this releases.

What a great graphic novel debut! There is a frame early on where Artie is sleeping with one leg under the covers and the other out and dang, if that is not the most relatable thing. I loved the romance on the side of the main story and I really loved the whole story concept overall. Perfect for fans of Teen Wolf (or old school fans of Twilight).

Give every star in the world to Molly Knox Ostertag. I need a sequel PLEASE. This book was so gay so quickly and I absolutely loved it. The mom is amazing and the brother is a little shit, but has a nice redemption arc. This is the summer of poptart romances IYKYK.

Yes, it took me many months to read this book, but that doesn't mean I didn't like it! It means that the book itself is small and kept getting buried in my book basket. I mostly read a few profiles at a time before bed, which was very nice, but this book would also be great for a day at the beach. Very fun and lighthearted!

I wish I could give this book 500 stars! I laughed, I cried, I cringed at mean characters. I wish I had this beautiful coming out story when I was a teen. There is a bit of transphobia, but I did like to see those characters' views challenged later in the book. I couldn't get enough of this wholesome romance and can't wait to buy a copy.

This short book really packed a lot of punch. I liked the way queer erasure and privilege were discussed. I didn't like that the queer acronym included an A for ally.

Favorite quote: "No one queer experience is more valid than another."

If you enjoyed You Won't Believe What Happened to Lacey, you should pick this one up, too. Especially recommend listening to the audiobook.
