I really enjoyed this book! I have read a lot of books about minimalism, but I liked the fresh perspective this book offers around intent for each space. I've added this to my list of books to buy so I can refer back to it in the future.

100% would not recommend listening to this a week before you have to go to the OBGYN if you already have medical anxiety. Otherwise, 100% recommend.

A great, comprehensive look at Juneteenth. Recommend the audiobook!

I'm glad I was able to snag this one as an audiobook on pub day; the audio really enhances this book as Jen narrates. Even though I'm 30, I found this book to be very relatable. A great, mostly light-hearted read amidst many books with heavier topics that I've read thus far this year.

What a cute story! I'm definitely looking forward to the rest of this series. Svetlana perfectly captures the awkwardness of middle school. I loved seeing the characters and their friendships grow amidst tension and chaos.

I feel like this one has been on my TBR for ages and I'm glad I finally read it. The medical gaslighting was a lot; I think abled-bodied folks will be tempted to think this could not happen, but I felt it was so relatable.

tense fast-paced

Karen M. McManus, you sneaky little bitch!!!! I hate everyone in this book ok jk I just hate like half of them but they are perfectly terrible characters. I stayed up hours past my bedtime two nights in a row because I couldn’t stop reading. Thank god I can get some sleep tonight except I won’t because DAMN THAT ENDING.

informative inspiring

I received a free ALC from Netgalley and Macmillan Audio in exchange for an honest review.

The content of this book is phenomenal and the audiobook narrator is especially engaging. I felt very inspired while listening and loved how accessible the content is for baby abolitionists. This book focuses on abolition as a whole, not exclusively police/prison abolition, which I think is a unique approach. I appreciated in particular the inclusion of disability justice ideas. Each step includes further reading and challenging reflection questions. I will be recommending this to literally everyone!

A really in-depth history of the Tulsa Race Massacre. The audiobook was super engaging and I learned a lot. Also had quite a bit of indigenous history that I did not expect, but enjoyed learning about.

Essentially a deep-dive into the history of all things pronouns. Honestly pretty dry, but was interesting enough on audio.
