I really enjoyed this! The characters are loveable and funny, and it's a quick and easy read to get completely lost in. The only thing I really didn't like was everything Red described being "[x] as f***" and once I noticed that I got a bit annoyed. I want to continue reading about the Brown sisters, but what I really want is a spin-off novel about Gigi - she cracked me up and I hope I see more of her in the following books!

The premise of this book was interesting and having enjoyed The Underground Railroad I was excited to try something else by Colson Whitehead. However, I found this really difficult to want to continue reading and I'm not entirely sure why. I think maybe there wasn't anything in particular that made me want to know *more* so it became hard to find the motivation to pick it up again once I had put it down.

Whilst I thought the beginning of the fake-dating was a bit puzzling and a few instances of the forced PDA weird and unrealistic, I really enjoyed reading this and I loved the academia setting! I sat down to start it and didn't get up until I finished it. Light, fluffy, a little bit spicy, and a great read.
