For me the start of this one really dragged, but once I had got through the first quarter I was fine, and I think possibly I just wasn't in the right mood to be reading it to begin with. I really liked returning to El's characteristic sarcastic humour and the second half or so of the book really hooked me. Not the best part of the series but not mad at it
