Nearly 100 pages in and so many different things have happened without being connected yet and it's a little frustrating. On top of that, the fact this is written by a man and the female main character seemingly randomly decides to comment on her body without it being necessary makes me feel a bit gross.

I am really enjoying almost everything about this book: the aunties, the humour, the fact I know where it's going re: the second chance romance. I can even imagine it as an excellent adaptation! But the suspension of disbelief required is too much for me at the moment it seems. Really fun, and I can see why people love it so much, but a bit too absurd for me to be totally onboard.
