This was such an AMAZING book! She set up the series so well with this one😍 I'm so excited to see where the rest of the series goes!

So many secrets and plot twists! I loved this book SO. MUCH. Everyone was suspicious, and I didn't trust anyone the entirety of the book, but I still didn't guess the twist right, even when I swore I knew everyone's roles. 10/10 read for sure!

I love Valeria and Jago's relationship. It was a true cousin/best friend bond. Valeria grows so much in this book from being a naive princess to learning that you really can't trust anyone, even the people who are closest to you. 

Cuervo is the BEST side kick, too. I hope we get to see more of him in the next book and get more juicy details about the late King & Queen Plumanegra.

I can't wait for the sequel! This had everything in it that I love and more.

The beginning starts in modern times and was a little slow for me. There was so much Irish folklore that I was a little lost the first 30%. I finally started piecing everything together and was diving head first into the story! I love the world building and characters. There were so many amazing plot twists and revelations towards the end of the book that have me anxiously awaiting the next book!!

From the get-go I was iffy about all the male characters. I love how there wasn't ever too much revealed and it made me so mad, but I loved it. I loved getting to feel Sion and Ella's emotions throughout the book instead of just being third wheel to it.

I haven't read the first book in the Amber Legends series, but after absolutely LOVING Nina & Adam, I'm going to be diving straight into it! I loved the second chance romance, the bonds between everyone, Nina & Adams relationship, and how the action was written. The sweet moments vs. the serious moments were perfectly laid out to me and kept me interested 100% of the way through the book. I can't wait to see where the rest of this series goes!

I really, really enjoyed all the characters and the story. I literally just finished and came to write this review and I'm just gaping right now. I cried so much at the end of both books but could feel all the love Oraya & Raihn have for each other ♡ I can't wait to see where the House of Shadows and Mische take the story!

I really enjoyed this book! It was slow going at first and the relationships were a little confusing but that was because I was having a hard time keeping straight who was who 😅 I really REALLY loved how Shawn did the campfire stories as their own chapter and thought that was so cool. 
I rated it a 4☆ instead of 5☆ because while the ending was definitely a twist, the who wasn't as shocking as the why but I still loved the book and would recommend it for anyone wanting a scary camping trip with dark family secrets that come back for revenge
