The Worst Book Ever: An interactive read-aloud for reluctant readers
Corianton Hale, Beth Bacon, Jason Grube
Cute
My kids love the bright colors. The book encouraging them to get up, get loud and get silly was so much fun for them. I can imagine a whole classroom going nuts while enjoying this book for storytime.

First time listening to this story. The narrator was phenomenal. Wonderful tale from Middle Earth. As I fall further into this world I want to learn more and more. I enjoyed being able to read this at watching the movies, hearing/seeing the places that liberties were taken with the films was fun and made for good conversation with family. I will read this again, probably with my kids as they get older.
I can not say enough positive words about Rick Riordan. Each book is a fun new story with plenty of mythology included. I am looking forward to my children understanding enough to read these tales.
Nov 11, 2023 listened to this with the kiddos, we all loved it. They are looking forward to the second book. The kids like the world that Riordan is creating with his book series.

Loved this!
How wonderful this little book is. Oh, the blank space. Simply fantastic. So very sweet and adorable. I must read this to my kids. It is a good one for all kids. To teach appreciation of silence, to teach leaving space for breathing, for listening, to truly hear. Lovely.

How lovely.
I adore this little alive book. It's a happy thing that made me smile. I look forward to listening to my kids read it. I would absolutely recommend it for kiddos and those with childlike hearts.

Loved the audio of this story! It was fabulous. I listened to it with my kids and we each enjoyed it. My daughter said that she liked the book more than the movie because the book had more detail and was more fun. She was happy to know all of the things that were missed in the movie. Onward we go to the Chamber of Secrets.
Must read! This is not simply a schedule kept over many years. Rather, this is history. World events told through the eyes of an amazing man. I enjoyed every bit of this book. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys biographies/memoirs or books to do with the behind the scenes of movies.
Incredibly sweet holiday story about giving to others even when all you have to give is kindness. I read it to my kids who enjoyed it. I was teary by the end which baffled them but it is because if them that I get emotional. The lessons in this tale are timeless. We could all do with understanding and practicing them more. I definitely recommend this story for kids.
I feel meh about this book. Which is sad because it has good information in it. My discontent with it comes from the lack of editing. There are numerous misspellings and errors in punctuation.
Additionally there are instructions in several rituals that do not include enough information. For example one ritual indicates the third eye and states that area is the middle of the forehead, another talks about the chakra on the throat, yet more simply say rub oil on this/that/the other chakra with no explanation of where they are. I found that frustrating.
I am looking at this book as a beginning point. It is a mere introduction to dark goddesses and shadow work. For that it is good. As a deeper wealth of knowledge on the subjects it is lacking.

Wow! I always liked Murtagh in the Inheritance Cycle. I was excited to see his story continue.
Goodness what a tale it is... epic, painful, dark. I enjoyed learning more of Murtagh and Thorn's history though it was often heartbreaking. The aches that they traverse in this book leads to monumental changes and true healing for them both. That was tear making but lovely to read. I am so happy to have experienced this furthering of Paolini's world.
I have listened to all of these stories. Gerard Doyle breathes life into the world; without him the characters would not be as wonderful as he has helped them to be.
I highly recommend this book and all of the Inheritance Cycle to any who enjoy epics and fantasies. They are absolutely wonderful both for adults and teens.
I look forward to the next installment of Paolini's magical dragon filled world.
