Brac Universe #12

Quick read.

Nero and Gunner fit well together. Nero it's definitely wired differently but it makes him endearing. Considering the teasing Gunner did when the other warriors found their mates.... it's funny that he ended up with Nero who is five feet tall.

I wish there had been more about Montana. He appeared and was introduced but then we didn't see him again in this book.

The problem with the vampires and rogues it's getting worse. Something is drawing them to the Brac pack. I wonder what? Or maybe the better question is who?

Brac Universe #14

Another shifter fast read. Brief mpreg scene. Be aware if you don't want to read mpreg.

I forgot about Jason! I'm so excited to see him get his happy story. As we learn in this book his life was bad in the Eastern pack. Also, it's great that Brac pack gains their own doctor in Jason's mate. Nicholas is great for Jason. He helps heal Jason's hurts.

I said Heaven and Murdock would be busy and now we know they will have their hands twice as full.

Brac Universe #16

It could just be me but these stories seem to be getting longer. I think the number of pages is roughly the same but there is more going on in each one. Reference to mpreg. Warning if that's not for you.

Montana got over his prejudice quickly and took his care of his little vampire. Gabby is just too cute. Mating and gaining the mates as friends will do wonders for his confidence. They are sweet together. It will be interesting to see if the vampire Prince is involved in more books now that we know his relationship to Gabby.

I love that we learn that Mellonee is even more special. We now know that Maribel is after her for some reason.

We also finished this book with the next couple meeting. I think this coming story is going to be funny.

Brac Universe #19

A longer book but still a fast read.

This book covered several months of time. First the time waiting for Taylor to come of age. After his birthday he and Dagon get together very quickly. Taylor wanted to mate with Dagon but afterwards had a hard time accepting everything. It's very hot and cold for a bit. Dragon for his part didn't seem as patient with his young mate as he should have been. His brothers out him in his place which is funny. After they work through that they do well together. Then we cover several months while the shelter is built. Taylor deciding to open the shelter is fantastic. I like that he's grown up and wants to do something to help the town.

I enjoy the snap shots of other couples. It's nice getting to see them after years of being with their mates. The short scenes show that they are still in love and happy.

It will be interesting to see how this series continues with the pack opening businesses in Brac Village.

Brac Universe #20

Yay Jasper's story!

Jasper and Zeus have a few problems and misunderstandings when they first get together. Then they meet Toby. He helps bring them together and becomes a strong part of their mating.

Looking forward to the continuation of this series.

Brac Universe #21

The Brac world is expanding. The demons are different from anything I've read before.

Hondo and Chris starting as close friends and ending up mates is sweet. Hondo is definitely a bit thick headed. Chris is a bit reckless and too quick to rush into situations. They end up working everything out together.

There is more story to come with Snooke. Hopefully we find out he's a good guy in a bad circumstance.

It will be interesting to see how this ties into Brac and Zeus packs.

Brac Universe #23

This book was quite disjointed at the end. It seemed that the author had several thoughts and didn't know how to work them into the story so just plopped them all at the end.

I did enjoy when Kane and Snooke came together. Kane is amusing and fun. After her finds out about Snooke's deception he's hurt but they move forward. Watching them fall in love is cute. I like how they laugh and enjoy being with each other.

On to the next Brac book. I wonder how these will all tie together.
