I doubt how much this book was fact checked or edited by people knowledgeable in the subjects being written about. I caught two glaring chemistry errors, and it makes me wonder how accurate the rest of the book is. December 11th discussed Watson and Crick and "their" discovery of the DNA double helix without any mention of Rosalind Franklin, the person whose work they stole. December 31st used "methyl alcohol" (also known as methanol) and "methyl" interchangeably; methyl alcohol is CH3OH, but methyl just denotes a CH3 group, no OH included.
