I had seen this book and I was intrigued by the premise. Not knowing it was a JK Rowling book, I put it in the back burner while I read other more appealing books. Now, I wish I had read it, it is such a compelling story with believable characters. As always, Ms. Rowling is wonderful in using language to describe scenes which makes the story even more real. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Cuckoo: bird laying in others' nests: a bird that lays its eggs in the nests of other birds that bring the nestlings up as their own.

Sweet story, same humour from the original two. Bittersweet, yet enjoyable. I wanted more in the end.
