It took me much longer to get into this book than the previous one. However, once I did I really liked it, especially as I got towards the end of the book. The characters continued to delight me and I loved getting to see how they grew from the first book.

This book means so much to me. I picked it up at the library on a whim, and then I read it in a single sitting. It made me cry multiple times. The character reminded me a lot of myself as a child, and the fact that kids today can see trans characters in books means so much to me.
