I loved this book. The female main character is complex and strong. I didn't know much about this character before reading this book, so the adventure it takes you on was exciting for me and I was rooting for Circe the whole time.

An informative book full of frustrating truths about being a woman in modern society with lots of things I did not know and made me very angry! My only comment is no mention is made of trans women which would have been a great addition and it feels like something is lacking without it.

Honestly this held up more than I thought it would upon reread. Obviously it still has its problems but book Edward is so much more fun than movie Edward and I'd forgotten that.

A must read for any fan of Junji Ito's or of cats.
