This is a really wonderful story about family, friendship, the struggles of Black women, activism and so much more. I don't know what I was expecting going into this but I am pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it

I love this series, I love Lexie and Dante and this one is a bit of a slow burn but the banter between the two of them is top tier.

This is the first one in the series so far that I would actually consider "warm and fuzzy" and my favorite so far

I would recommend this for people who like fake dating, cute pets, strong friendships, and pop culture references.

I personally didn't care much for our main character. I also thought it was odd that she didn't take time to reflect on certain parts of the interview that she went to. I totally understand that as a woman in gaming she'll have to deal with some nonsense but I'm hoping that she actually addresses all of that later in the story.

Recommend if you like second chance romances. There is some familial drama though 

I love this couple together but there was soooo much lack of communication and it irked my soul.

If you can get on stage and recite a poem about her, you can tell her how you feel my boy
