could not get over the grossly violent fatphobia. 

This book was lovely! I'm just such a mood reader that the slow pace wasn't doing it for me, but I hope to read it fully one day.

It was so slow, and I could not get invested in the character at all.

I couldn't keep reading this book because it made me feel really antsy in an uncomfortable way, which is strange because I've read plenty of mysteries and thrillers. I think that I may have enjoyed it more if I was in a different mood, maybe? I also found the characters to be either really unlikable or difficult to listen to, so the thought of listening to the rest of the book through all their perspectives made me feel really overwhelmed.
