i loved this so much!! i really really wanted to give this 5 stars but it felt a little off somehow? i think a few comments that character amber made about her sexuality felt a little bit transphobic and it immediately put me off. the story itself was so enjoyable and light and lovely, but that took away from the enjoyment quite a lot. if you liked she drives me crazy you’ll like this too!

this IS percy jackson with chinese emperors and i loved it. the second half did go quite slow but i don’t know if that was me or the book? but i really liked it even when i had no idea what was happening! these children are making mistakes and sure some of them may be world-ending but it’s fun and funny to go along with

i really liked this but there also seemed like there wasn’t an emotional attachment to the characters themselves os i think that took away from my enjoyment. it was also really spiritual which was fun to read,, but i’m not spiritual so that also didn’t work for me? i think this one just didn’t fit my personal preferences but it is still objectively good!

easily a favourite of all time! this book was full of so many wonderful tropes and characters. it was funny and lighthearted and ridiculously warm and i loved it so so much. the queer rep in this was also so good!! i just adored this <3

my thoughts are: i have no idea what was happening. it was a mess and i loved it.

there was barely a focus on the characters themselves, the plot was a mess and overall it wasn’t totally great content wise. the writing was also really cringey.

but!! i found myself not caring in the slightest. despite all of that i still loved this sm <3 i wish there were more books in this series. i’m gonna miss my girls </3

messy characters and even messier relationships! i really enjoyed this :)

cannot compile my thoughts. sam is my identity in a book and i am blown away. i adored this. and i cried basically the whole way through like a baby because i’ve never had a character like sam before.
