this was so so good and heartbreaking and a wonderful conclusion

part 3 (the ending) did feel slightly disjointed and unsatisfying in comparison to the rest of the duology which is why it’s not a 5 star but i loved it and it’s characters and story regardless and strongly recommend :)

hopeful lighthearted medium-paced

very sweet! but definitely could’ve done with further development in,, most areas. but it’s also a novella, and told the story it was aiming to!

i have so many thoughts and feelings about this and my number one remains: juno marcus is the love of my life.

close second is that castor’s autism and their traits felt so much like parts of mine and as such if anyone doesn’t like this book i WILL be taking it personally

there wasn’t anything ‘wrong’ with this book in particular but i just didn’t enjoy reading it unfortunately :,)

i was So Bored for most of this - i feel like i needed something extra from the story that just wasn’t there

but! the ending had me intrigued enough to pick up the sequel!

how damn long was that 14th edition handbook though

so small but so impactful. it told a gripping story in just the right amount of words (which for something so short is hard to achieve!)

i loved this - and the mc using xe/xem pronouns 🥹 a lil bit of neopronoun rep for me, as a treat

i am so Tired so this review does not make sense but!!! i liked!!! and it’s so short!!! go read it :) please :)

crying over a bat is a new low for me

this was very fun! a little juvenile at first and with a Lot of swearing but by the end i was fully invested and in love with this cast of characters!! i’ll definitely be picking up the sequels soon :D it was also a very quick/fast paced read which kept my brain engaged the entire time <3

What Moves the Dead

T. Kingfisher

not vibing with the writing style! it’s also not my preferred genre so i don’t think it would’ve been a fun time for me personally overall :)
