He had grown more daring than in the past month, brushing up against me any chance he gets and taking advantage of any excuse to touch me. His fingers always lingering longer than necessary. At night, when I'm lost in the nightmare, I let him hold me for a little while, feeling safer with him then I do in my own skin.
