At what I guess is the halfway point, it feels like the series is picking up pace, but still way too many story lines which are just there. Not sure if the authors can tie them all up the way Gaiman used to.
Ummm...have some mixed feelings about it. Liked it at places, not so much at others. Didn't really like the ending.
Lucifer: The Morningstar Option
Scott Hampton, Jennifer Lee, Neil Gaiman, Todd Klein, Mike Carey
The ending was a tad unoriginal and quite convenient.
I feel like the book peaked right in the middle when Lucifer visited Hell, and it was all downhill from there.

The story arc was okay. Dialogues at places were so bland, something uncharacteristic of Mike Carey. Will be interesting to see how the other story lines which got generated in this segments develop in the next few volumes.
Loved this arc of the story. The pace is brilliant and the stakes are super high! Probably the best one so far in the series!
Can't wait for the next book. Things are getting really interesting.
Have very mixed feelings about this one. The story was okay. Dream made an appearance, so that was nice. The art was the biggest turn off for me. Though I understand the reason, didn't like the water color like flowing coloring of the panels!
"After all, any prototype that can't resist the old celestial party line isn't worth the effort of mass production, is it?"
Lucifer mocks the message from God as a " celestial party line" and I can't agree more! Even in his failure he succeeded!
Pater noster, qui es in caelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum. Adveniat regnum tuum. Fiat voluntas tua!

What an epic ending. Definitely the best arc among the 5 arcs I have read so far. Almost Gaimanesque in execution. Simply brilliant!
