In the first novel of Mistborn series one of my complaint against the story was that there was hardly any character, with the exception of Kelsier, with whom you feel connected. The problem with this book was there there were too many characters for whom you start caring. And like the previous book in the series the language holds.
Though I don't appreciate how Sanderson revealed some of the plot twists as the story unfolded, but damn this was a good book. Perfect twists in the plot at the perfect moment.
Eagerly waiting for the third book now.

Daaayyyuummmm!!!!
Have read quite a few books but none so weirdly weird. Right from the very first chapter, it is insane.
In the end it all makes sense, and every piece of puzzle fits in perfectly. There are enough suspense and they are revealed at the perfect time!
An absolute page turner.

I am surprised that I liked this one so much more than I ever expected it to.
The language is beautiful of course, and the pleasure of reading 19th century British English written eloquently is in its own a reward. :)

"If it were only the other way! If it were I who was to be always young, and the picture that was to grow old! For that -- for that -- I would give everything! Yes, there is nothing in the whole world I would not give! I would give my soul for that!"
How naive of you Mr. Gray, how naive.

One of the books you hate for taking you on an emotional roller-coaster, but you love it too for you enjoyed the ride immeasurably!
"never be sad abot the past. it has already hapened and you canot change it. instead, focus on wat truly matters: being sad abot the future".
Words of wisdom, I tell you!
Funny book, kind of both dark and optimistic. Took me like half an hour to finish it, but that was interesting half an hour.

"imagine a figure, half angel, half devil, all human..."
Never read a a book this hilarious and dark. About an uncommon bond of friendship forced between a devil and an angel to fight the gods and save the world. A kid, so powerful that he literally changes the world on his whim. A witch with such precise prophesies that it would shame the best of the prophets.
The book, for me, gets a tad too draggy in the middle when there is no Crowley or Aziraphale. But when they are there, there is no limit to the laughter, specially when it is Crowley. Who is by the way my favorite demon from now.
Not as sophisticated as American Gods, but equally ridiculous!

Was an interesting book. I always thought Loki was Thor's brother. Turns out he is blood brother of Odin. I think Thor needs to give a bit more respect to his uncle. 😜
I know Ragnarok will end the earth, but all things considered it might not be that bad. Will be just like Adam and Eve starting anew. Not the best case scenario, bu hey, it ain't the end at least!
