A very light thriller.
Perfect for those that like to get lost in a little suspense without being terrified!

Groff has an incredibly detailed, imaginative writing style that at times I thoroughly enjoyed. The story itself was a bit hit & miss for me though. The second part of the novel was a welcome twist.

It had the potential to end so much better. Up till the last chapter I was hooked.

I really didn't mind this book. It was easy to read... It's what I would consider to be a great holiday/beach read. One an eager reader could knock over in an afternoon. The storyline was simplistic in its descriptions & narrative, but the content itself, for me, hit somewhere deeply internal. I felt the rawness of the characters pain & loved the ending for that reason. Healing is such a personal journey.
