An aspiring killer meets his match while on the hunt for a victim. Miscommunication, delusion, and deception all play a role in how events unfold in this book. I enjoyed it but probably would’ve given it a higher rating if the ending was different.

Loved how it all came together in the end. Although I figured out a bit of it early on, I was able to enjoy the story to the end. Highly recommend for people who are just getting into thrillers. The perspective was also really creative.

It’s sad that the world and our political climate has gotten worse since this came out. If you follow the news and care about the truth, this is probably not going to be the most educational or insightful read but it is definitely worth it. For those who haven’t been paying attention, this is a great reading experience with digestible facts as well as relatable narration.

Encapsulates so many feelings I’ve had for a while. That final line hit hard and drives home the finality of death and how it comes without warning. Thank you to everyone who recommended this.

I related to this so much and even cried once or twice. Loved the perspective being a Caribbean American myself. I enjoy the authors videos and have always felt nostalgic watching them so it was cool to get insight into his life and see the similarities within our lived experience.
