I enjoyed the storyline and characters but found some parts to be more explicit than necessary.

I Am Watching You took me 11 days to read, and that alone should tell you a lot. The story itself was intriguing and had potential, but I found it hard to stay invested. The characters felt distant and somewhat flat, so I didn’t feel compelled to keep turning the pages. As for the ending, it was just okay—nothing that surprised or moved me. If you’re looking for a thriller with deep, engaging characters, this isn’t it.

I thought The Husbands was really cute! It had a fun and unique concept that kept me engaged from start to finish. I couldn’t help but chuckle at the thought of sending people “to the basement” as the story unfolded! I listened to the audiobook, which was fantastic—well-narrated and full of energy that brought the characters to life. If you're looking for an entertaining and original read, I highly recommend The Husbands!

If I could, I’d give Look Closer by David Ellis more than five stars. I wanted a thriller to end October with, and this book was perfect. The first half pulled me in, but the second half—wow—was phenomenal! Packed with twists and turns, it kept me guessing, and every time I thought I’d figured it out, I was wrong. You know it’s a great book when the moment you finish, you’re already looking for more by the author. If you love thrillers, don’t wait—read this one now!

This was different than other memoirs I've read, it was a great reflection of how quirky she is in real life. She basically recounts the absurdities of being an actress. Great insight.

Loved this super cute, cozy fall read! Small town cafe meets steamy hallmark movie. I can’t wait to read the next one!

After the Housemaid series, this might just be my favorite book by Freida McFadden. The twists and turns had me rethinking my opinions every few pages, making it impossible to put down. This is a must-read for fans of thrillers! Plus, it was my first buddy read on StoryGraph, which added to the enjoyment even more.

This was the second book in the series and just as spicy as the first. My favorite line was “We always end up where we’re meant to be!” I always love a good royal romance tale.

This was very intense and spicy, but the storyline had me unable to put it down.

I listened to this book while cleaning up my backyard after a tornado caused by hurricane Milton. It kept me interested and guessing all throughout.

I had no idea what the book was about when I started listening. The idea that a family wakes up on a Monday and things start going wrong makes you feel unsettled, but how would you feel if you realized your husband had been lying to you for the duration of your marriage?
