Read this after the final book in the series both still loved it.
I read this series out of order and this was my least favorite, but I still liked it. It’s a story of “two very different people being the perfect match because they filled the parts the other one was missing.”
This was an interesting perspective and I kept wondering how things would be if Diana were alive.
Ehhh I really struggled and it almost became one I gave up on. The story was cute but it was just… so… slow.
This will go down as one of my favorite books of 2024! A beautiful story of family, love and timing. I will forever remember the cardinal rules:
Keep your passport renewed, always pair red wines with meats and whites with everything else, find fulfilling work, fall in love, and chase the moon.

Wow! I listened to this book, often while driving and I almost crashed the car while listening to chapter 20. My jaw was on the floor and I looked around to other cars like can you believe this just happened?!? Initially, the mother-daughter relationship was what drew ,me pulled me into the story. As it unfolded, it was everything else. Bravo, Mary Kubica. Love a book that makes me want to stay in the car! (Four stars because the first half was slow)
Beautiful conclusion to a series. It’s always nice to start a book knowing the characters. This one focused on healing and my favorite line was “every time the door opened, another broken piece inside me knit itself back together”.
This was a cute storyline with so much promise, however the spicy scenes were unnecessarily detailed. At times these scenes almost felt forced. They added nothing to the story.
I was going to give it 4 stars because I liked the story, even though I had to force myself to finish it. However, a story shouldn’t end with 4 chapters explaining what happened in the book. That makes for a boring book with no development. Very disappointed.
