This was food but I didn’t like it as much as Get a Lide, Chloe Brown.

I wanted to read this and forced myself to finish it. It’s a sad tale and along the way I kept hoping she would learn something. The second half of the books was almost pointless. I don’t know if I needed it.

The story line of two women becoming friends drew me to this book. I loved seeing their relationship unfold. It was a bit slow in the middle.
