This is a beautifully written story! I felt immersed in the Indian culture and at one point could even smell what the author describes! Beautiful is an understatement.

Loved the idea of this book, second chances, but I had to force myself to read it. It did not hold my interest.

This was cute and lighthearted- the perfect beach read.

Loved it! Kept me guessing.

This book kept me turning the pages and ignoring my family. I had an uneasy feeling the whole time I read, I was so worried about the kids. Ha! The end was thrilling. Did anyone else have to go back and reread the beginning?

Loved this book! The main character loses her mom to a violent crime and then has her life threatened. The characters were believable and the suspense kept me up several nights. Loved the end!

Wow! This is a brilliant debut novel for Maureen Joyce Connolly. She touches a subject that is full of fear and emotion for parents, the kidnapping of their children. This book is told from the perspective of different characters and at times you feel all their individual emotions. Excellent!!!

Having just gotten off a ship I was interested in the behind the scenes aspect. This book provides a lot os that but the writing was a bit flat. I took me a long time to finish it.

This was a cute book, I liked the second half a lot better than the first. A family invites to celebrate their mother’s 70th birthday on a cruise. They’re all surprised to find out they all have secrets.

Beach read but with little depth. Left me wanting more.
