This was hard to read at times but hopeful as well. Insightful look into what harkens in a different culture and how women and girls are treated. Enjoyed it!

Cute story about getting something you didn’t know you wanted. Anything is possible.

This was cute and different from everything I’ve read recently. A mom who takes a break from life and finds her self. I didn’t love the little cliffhanger at the end- it felt unnecessary.

Kept me guessing until the ends, which I really like. The main character is someone you want to be friends with while being annoyed at some of her choices.

Loved the characters and the way the stories intertwined. I found myself cheering for the underdog. Well done!

I finished this book a minute ago and I can already tell you I will read it again many times. The best way to describe it is as a beautifully written memoir. I found so many parts moving and worthy of putting down the book to really digest what was happening. This part in the beginning was one of my favorites in the book. The last line is something I’ll carry with me for a while.

“Do you know what, Angela? That devastation might’ve had something to do with why I performed so poorly at college my freshman year. Perhaps I had not been such a terrible student, after all. Perhaps I had merely been sad. I am only realizing this possibility at this moment, as I write to you. Oh, dear. Sometimes it takes a very long while to figure things out.”

I knew I would love this book because I am a crime junkie and love podcasts. The first half of the book made it hard to put the book down. The character was relatable and her situation was unimaginable. However the second half of the book did little to engage the reader and simply fell flat. K had to force myself to finish it.

This book is slow to start but then grabs you in because the stories are ones we’ve all heard before win whispers. Timely and worth the read.

Magnificent! The best book I’ve read in a while. The characters are compelling and their journeys become our own. Beautifully written with detailed imagery that makes you feel like you’re delivering books with the library ladies.

What’s in a scent? This book dives deep into scents and the emotions they provoke. It is beautifully written and hard to put down.
