I was cold while reading this, so cold I had to turn the heat on and get under some blankets myself. The book really sets the atmosphere completely. I like movies of disaster and survival. I've read a few books on those subjects, but not in a long time, and this really brought my love for them back. I do think the characters could of done more to help survive, and at times I felt like they kept doing the same thing, I kept waiting for something big to happen and it didn't. I also think the ending happen to quickly and wish there was more.

marking it with this cause it might contain mild spoilers.

I finished this this morning just after midnight cause I wasn't able to sleep. I liked this book, I kind of wish I liked it more, but I don't. I felt it weak at times. This book does deal with suicide, bullying, depression, and sickness.

Daelyn is left unable to speak and in a neck brace due to a failed suicide attempt. She is constantly bullied at school, accept Santana a boy who has a story of his own. Daelyn finds a website promoting on how to succeed in dying. As she posts there and finds the perfect way. Her friendship with Santana strengthens. Will she go through with her plan or not?

In the end I was left wondering and thinking, but I think the ending was a real positive one.

Having to rewrite my review my browser acted up when I was almost done the first time. :( well anyways I won this from first reads and I'm glad I did. This is a wonderful memoir about Dr. Christensen and his team who go around helping the forgotten, unwanted, and unloved kids. He treats them, loves them and helps them, he gives them hope. Each kid with a different story begging and ending. It doesn't matter he treats them almost as there his own kids. I was sad when he couldn't heal the ones who couldn't be healed, but I was happy when I read the good endings of the children who he could heal. I highly suggest you read this even if you don't like memoirs, I really think you will like this one.

I want to thank Christopher C. Payne at JournalStone publishing for giving me the chance to read this. I really enjoyed it.
Everything seems to be going wrong for young Sadie her mom is dead, and she's constantly being picked on by her peers in school 'cause she believes her mother is still alive. She's a foster child and all she wants to be is 'normal' but by her thirteenth birthday she gets the surprise of her life that will change her more than she expected, and just possibly will get the chance of being 'normal' after all, but in a totally different way.
The characters were great in this so many twists it kept me on the edge of my seat at times!! A great YA read. Can't wait to read more about young Sadie.

One of my more favorite Dr.Seuss books, and all the made up creatures. I remember as a kid always wanting some of them. The drawings in this one are some of my favorites as well. I highly recommend this book.

I remember liking this book a lot more as a kid, after re-reading it it just didn't hold up to as much as other Dr. Seuss books that I remember.

Funny book with stupid twisted fairy tales.I remember most of the time preferring these to the normal Mother Goose stories.

One of my favorite books as a kid,and it still is. I think the artwork is pretty amazing. I liked the movie as well.

Great little book about a very loveable little bear, and all he wants is a home and to find his lost button.

A series a friend introduced me to, and I'm glad she did. This is the first of the Pendergast series books I've read, and it was great read. I couldn't wait to find out what happen next. Even though I've always loved sci-fi and horror, I had only liked few books of the genres and this one brought back a love for the genres. I can't wait to read more of the series.
