i have to finish this later. it was due to the library and didnt finish in time. i was taking my time to really sink these lessons in. will work on it next time i borrow it :-) i love these books

I want to thank St. Martin's Press for sending me this to review.

I could not put this book down. such a huge page turner. This book is told through two perspectives. Those of Hanna, and Suzette. Hanna is a young girl, the daughter of Suzette. Hanna is a troubled child, and has been getting into a lot of trouble lately. From being kicked out of schools,to causing harm to others. She's just out of control.

Suzette, the mother who's at her last straw with Hanna, and is fearing for her life.
Alex, Hanna's father is present, and although the story isn't told through his side, he plays a very important part in it. Hanna loves her daddy, and definitely favors him over her mother.

The whole time I was reading I'd say i was mostly on Suzette' s side. Maybe there's more to Suzette that we don't know about?

The suspense is pretty big. Not a lot if twists like I was expecting, but it still kept me on my toes as to what Hanna wound do next, how was Suzette, and Alex going to react. I definitely felt like she's Damien Thorn' s sister.

Are you Team Hanna, or Team Suzette?

NOTE: POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD:
What a fantastic read. Such a fast paced thrill-ride.
The night Angela Wong was killed is a night Geo would never forget, especially when the past catches up with her. After being sent to jail for the murder of her best friend fourteen years earlier. She sent to prison for 5 years for the crime. Her boyfriend at the time Calvin was also involved. After being released Geo tries to pick up her life, and is stuck between people hating her, and a series of murders that have taken place even while she was still in prision. And her friend who's a detective on the cases Kaiser. Are the murders connected to Angela's?

I love fast paced thrillers, and this was one of them. Twists keep me reading. I had thought I guessed who ir was halfway through, but was wrong.
Thank you Chevy Stevens, and Zoje Stage for the reccomendation.
now everyone, please go read this book!
