I have a headache as I read this,and while writing this, but I still loved this book. it was quick and hilarious. I would of laughed out loud, but since I'm not feeling well I laughed on the inside.
I loved the drawings, and the stories.
I don't yet have kids of my own. I hope to someday.
Oscar is our narrator,and he is cute and funny. the stuff he says. I'm sure I'd be laughing more than I did if i had kids, but I've babysat before and know they can say some pretty strange stuff sometimes.
I've read a few of jeffrey browns books in the past. (his Vader and Son books) i like his work. I will be looking forward to more from him.

the new friend she meets is pretty cool...well they is until later in the book. I don't want to spoil anything.
the book isn't scary either even though it has a ghost in it, so don't worry if you sint like scary books. :)

i liked it i know its in the 'Crank' triliogy so i wont be able to read the others in the series till they come in at the library( people have em checked out). i like Ellen's books at first reading in verse is a little different, but i try not to think of them as poems all the time and i get through them. plus the story lines make them a difficult read, but i love that her books are with real life situations of what someone may go through. Kritina aka Bree is a normal girl, untill one summer on a trip to see her dad, things take a turn where she meets the monster. things change at home, people start to notice, she hides Bree as much as she can,but she can only hold on for so long.
cute little book. would make a great gift. I read this in 5 minutes or less. I wish there was more to it, but it's nice it was also in the style if a Little Golden Book. very vibrant colors too. this would be perfect for children as well.
