I was sent this book from the author herself, Karen McQuestion in exchange for an honest review.
This was my first Sci-fi kind of book and I really enjoyed it.
Emma Garson is faced with a challenge or task when her boyfriend, Lucas is dying of cancer and miraculously recovers...because there is an alien taking over his body.
Scout (the alien) has cured Lucas of his cancer and got stuck in Lucas's body when his ship crashed in their backyard. Emma's job is to help Scout get back to his planet so she can get her boyfriend back.
This book is definitely suspenseful and had me on the edge of my seat at times. It is action-packed, full of romance and gives you a different pov of Earth - how we're mean and very judgemental.
I definitely enjoyed this book to the fullest! Emma did annoy me at times because she was mean and selfish. I found myself most annoyed at her when she wasn't listening to others opinions, ideas, or instruction.
I enjoyed the family incorporated into this book, especially the sibling having a role because that is rare. Lucas's mother did annoy me because of her disapproval of Emma because of the smallest things. She was so rude to her.
Overall, this is a great read and I recommend it if you love sci-fi/alien novels or aren't sure about the genre.
Thank you to @KarenMcQuestion for sending me this for review!

Connor really expresses "living life to the fullest". Life is the main message of this book. It really made me think, and laugh-out-loud!
I didn't know about Connor has a child, pre-teen, and teenager. It was nice to get to know about his life and how video making started off. I learned a lot I didn't know about Connor and got to see some words from his parents and cute photos!

I never wanted to stop reading this book. It was fantastic. I had read Attachments right before I read this and I agree with everyone else that Fangirl is better. This was such a different story, I've never read something like this before. I absolutely loved how you see throughout the whole book how Cath gains more confidence and is more open about the college experience. I loved Levi, if he was a real person I would want him as my best friend or even a significant other. Everything about this book was amazing. I would re-read it a thousand times.
I love how John Green portrays teenage romance differently than other authors. Augustus and Hazel had a special love, that made me very happy. His Dutch picnic was the cutest thing. He really did love her. What boy would spend his Wish on a girl? I was worried that Hazel wouldn't be able to go but when they flew to Amsterdam, I was as angry as Hazel when Peter van Houten was a jackass and didn't tell her what he promised her. Their first kiss wasn't as magical but in their kind of way it was. Later on in the book, my feelings towards him changed when he showed up at Gus' funeral. I was astonished when he showed up there. I'm glad Peter did tell her more about the book and I was not planning on Anna to be someone who was close to him, his own daughter. I figured as Hazel did that he treated her that way because he couldn't face her. I did feel bad for him, no one should have to lose a child especially as young as she was. He sounded like a great father. During my reading, I had thoughts about how was to pass away first. My first intent was Hazel but towards the middle of the book, I thought Gus and then it happened. I wasn't too surprised, but it hit my heart when I had to read that line. No tears, just sorrow. Gus was a lovely guy and a great friend. The things he had done for Isaac were incredible along with his words of encouragement. I giggled when he broke his basketball thropies and when they threw eggs at Monica's car. Gus was also a witty guy, I liked that. He made me laugh from time to time. Hazel was also as interesting as Augustus. They were literally perfect for each other. I do wish the book had went on because I wanted to know if Peter would talk at Hazel's funeral when she passed. Overall, I enjoyed this book greatly. I hope I enjoy the movie as much as the book.

I'm always hesitant to read sequels because of my experience with duo's in the past. Though, I enjoyed getting back to Rosie & Don, I didn't enjoy this as much as I did with the Rosie Project; which I rated 5 stars.
The problems I had were that Rosie was too independent and didn't want any of Don's help and was rude in thinking that they couldn't parent together. She really annoyed me throughout the story.
Don's problems could've easily been prevented if he just had told Rosie about the Playground Incident and didn't lie to Lydia. It just wasn't necessary. Their lack of communication really disappointed me and angered me.
Though, the characters came to a close very nicely and the lessons of the story were good.
Mainly, I read this because I wanted to see more of the baby + Rosie & Don having a family WHICH WAS NOT INCLUDED! The details were only told of Rosie having the baby and naming it, such a short scene!

Hannah and Nick have been online friends for 4 years. They have video chatted, texted, and talked on the phone. They have the best friendship anyone could ask for.
But, trying to meet each other IRL has been rough. They tried once before but that didn't work out due to Hannah's strict parents.
Hannah decides to surprise Nick on a whim during spring break to see his hand perform at House of Blues in Vegas. Hannah learns some secrets that Nick has been hiding from her.
Hannah is a Korean MC which was very great to see!
I felt like I was going through Hannah and Nick's night in Vegas myself, it was very descriptive and fun!
I really enjoyed the characters in this book and how they all had a story and felt like characters more than side characters. We meet Lo - Hannah's best friend - Grace - Hannah's sister - who have their own storylines which is awesome.
This book has one of my favorite endings, the ending was so good and cute! I loved it so much.
Definitely recommend this read if you enjoy bands, mystery and romance!
