One of my favorite sequels of all time, it does not disappoint or have Sequel Syndrome! It's a more adventurous book rather than To All the Boys I've Loved Before. We see more of the winter seasons, Josh and Margot's relationship is told and Lara Jean gets more crafty and bakes more! Lara Jean and her childhood friends Peter, Trevor, John Ambrose McClaren, Gen & Chris reunite for one final time as their childhood tree house is about to be taken down. They reminisce and play a game of Assassins throughout the book. I recommend :)

2018: changing my rating to 2 stars. This novel has homophobia and abuse is written as romantic.

I had a hard time getting into this book. I just kept putting it down for the whole month. Finally, I picked it up and finished it. I really enjoyed the last 200 pages because everything was coming together. I felt like it was really slow up until then. I liked how it ended, too.

I really like when the title is understood in the book. I was wondering what the point of 'Ugly Love' was until I read the last 50 pages and it all came together.

Miles did annoy me SO MUCH and Tate at times too. But, my favorite character was Cap, he was very wise and witty and he helped Tate and Miles by listening to them and giving them the advice they needed. He was a great addition to this book.

I rarely read about older characters and I liked that about this book. It was very different.

This book was hands down fantastic. I couldn't get enough of it. I rarely relate to characters but I could relate to Lara Jean so much on the love level. Starting out, I had a very different intention of what this will be about. I was wrong and I loved it even more because of that. I liked how the book wasn't entirely based off of the letters. This book had small messages throughout which I felt were so great. In contemporaries, parent's are barely mentioned or taken as a character. I loved that this had family as main characters. This felt so realistic because it is how most teenage girls live their lives. These are the thoughts rushing through my brain as I just finished this book and I will end with this: I just might be in love with Peter too.

tw: abuse by a step-parent, loss and grief, loss of a sibling, toxic living arrangements

I really loved this book. It was so much fun to listen to, yet a dark storyline. Brynn was such a great character and I was rooting for her all the way. Genuinely, I felt so bad for her and I couldn't wait until she got out of her mother's house. Dear Rachel Maddow is told in email format which is a format I really enjoy. Listening to the emails was engaging, really brought the story alive. We follow Brynn's emails to Rachel Maddow and a political story-line which I haven't read before. I liked seeing the school politics interfere with Brynn's life while she's grieving the loss of her brother. We also have a f/f romance!! I shipped Brynn and Mikayla ALL THE WAY and I really hated Sarah.

This story was very relatable given that it's set in PA, where I'm from really added to my reading experience. There aren't many YA novels set in PA and getting to see the characters getting ready to choose their colleges - specifically ones set in Philadelphia - was super relatable to me.

I really didn't want this story to end. As a debut novel, this was great. I do feel some of the character development could've been fleshed out and more developed but the characters were really great. I loved how Brynn had support outside of her toxic household. It definitely showed how you really don't know what someone is going through outside of school.

Sad this is over, but excited for more of the authors work! Hopefully more novels set in PA.

I went to see the Miss Peregrine's movie having not read the book and saying "oh I don't have the time, whatever" little did I know that after loving the movie I would spend the next three days devouring this book? I'm so glad I read this and will be continuing on in the series. I loved the characters and the fantastical elements of this story.

Ransom's writing is very funny as he writes Jacob and all the other peculiar children. I was laughing and flipping pages unconditionally until the very end. I'm not a huge Fantasy reader, but I did really love this book.

Really, really enjoyed it.

A very sentimental and heartwrenching read. I do feel differently than I did reading this novel 10 years ago (2008). I do feel like Ponyboy sounds more like a middle schooler than a teenager. But, also it was interesting to see how differently he interacted with adults. I also loved the friendship between Ponyboy and Johnny! It was so genuine and so cute.

Perfect amount of thrill! Dark and twisted. Has you guessing until the very end.

I was sent this novel from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

This was a fun, suspenseful read! We follow Addie who is trying to get to the bottom of the mystery that is the Spill Zone. Reminded me of I AM LEGEND. Leaves you on a cliff hanger. I will be picking up the next one for sure!

This was okay, I thought it was funny and I liked the writing style. It was definitely cute but geared toward middle grade audiences. I liked Georgia's character because of her sassiness, though I disliked her friend group. I was also confused at some parts especially between her mother and Jem. I really liked the family dynamic and sisterly bond in this book. Also, Angus! He was always getting into mischief!
