I loved this poetry collection so much. Jaye talks a lot about their gender identity and being in relationships as a trans person as well as their Indigenous heritage. There are man mythology references, odes to Florence and the machine songs and overall such lyrical prose. Some of my favorite poems were: inheritance, loving in the dark, queer//rition, waterways, about the ones i want to love.  Would recommend!

Thank you to the publisher for sending me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

I really enjoyed this book and what it had to offer. Art is Everywhere recaps Andy Warhol's life and relationship to art. As someone who didn't know much about Warhol prior to reading this, I learned a lot about his life and his art pieces in this book. The illustrations were awesome as an ode to Warhol's famous paintings and Pop Art style, I thought this did a really great job capturing Warhol's essence. I would recommend this to those who are fans of Warhol or any artists and/or anyone who wants to learn about Warhol like I did.

Read for my job. I love this book because it educates you on the larger parts of being a pastry chef rather than just going over the basics! Kids can learn about the step by step process as well as learn the names for ingredients then they can practice their skills with the stickers and activity cards in the back. This book contains multiple paper circles and stickers for decorating a cake down to the icing.

I love this book so much. It's wholesome and unapologetically unique. We all have anxiety monsters and the anxiety you feel surrounding a new part of yourself is the biggest anxiety monster of all. I love seeing non-binary representation in children's picture books. While reading, all I could think of is how awesome it will be for kids to see themselves in books at such a young age. I desperately wish I had a book like this as a kid! Highly recommend for everyone of all ages to read this.

Loved this! It's a really thrilling comic set in my state! It was so captivating and atmospheric. I love Machado's writing and this just made me love her storytelling all over again.

Was short and sweet, but wish It had a little more depth
medium-paced

Liked the second half of the book better. I just wish there was more nuance and the story was more fleshed out. It missed some important conversations since Michigan easily was let onto the team and that wouldn't be the case for a trans person or any women of color. This story is very privileged because Michigan is a white girl.
