i really wanted to like this more than i did, man. there were just so many character povs and they flipped back and forth so fast it gave me whiplash.

i really love ness and i will fight anyone that wants to harm him, though. i’m hoping book two is better.

i am SO glad i kept reading after not caring much for the first book in this series.

this was MUCH better and holy shit, that ending?! i really enjoyed this one. ness is still my boy, but i also adore wyatt. poor emil is in a tough spot here.

but oh, brighton still fucking sucks. yikes.

from the very beginning of the book, once we met jainan, i *knew* taam was garbage. i knew he was abusing jainan and i hated that i was right.

kiem was an idiot and i adored him, and the two of them together were a perfect match. they just fit and i’m so glad they figured it out.

i liked this so so much. definitely will read again.

i legitimately cried on and off from page eleven.

this HURT. like, i knew it was going to be sad, but holy shit. it was beautiful and poignant and lovely but did it have to hurt so much?

i finished this in about seven hours because i could not put it down.

i immediately fell in love with tanner and sebastian and it was heartbreaking and lovely to read their stories.

this book just makes me happy.
