i would literally read 72829 volumes on these two. i adore them.

I love books that make me feel good, and this book made me feel SO good. It was just a charming, relatable romance with characters that were fun to root for.

The romance was *chefs kiss* and not overly angsty, and I adored both Sophie and Amy. The cooking and reality tv angle was super fun, too, and easy to imagine the characters in that world.

My only criticism is the ending felt SUPER rushed and then just sort of ended. I would have loved a bit more fleshed out there. but honestly this shit was cute as hell and I really enjoyed it.

This is one of the best examples of slow-burn romance I have read in a very long time.

I'm not often one for fantasy stories with lots of world building, but I'm so glad I picked this one up! The characters are some of my favorites ever. Evemer being this tough bodyguard with such a soft spot (eventually) for Kadou? Yes. Here for it. I love his grumpy exterior because immediately that told me this human was a big softy, and I love being right. I, too, wanted to protect Kadou this entire book. The way his anxiety was portrayed was incredible to read, and I love that it was treated as just a part of the Prince, and not something they needed to "fix".  The dual POVs in this worked very well and I loved seeing them react differently to the situations.

Also, you will love Tadek. I guarantee it.

I enjoyed the way the main conflict of this story was woven into the love story, and I just think this book is neat. You should read it.

Although I enjoyed Boyfriend Material, I was not in the majority of folks that loved it. I adored Oliver, however, and was very excited to read some more with him. I really like that Husband Material shows how much Luc and Oliver have grown as both people and as a couple, and it was fun to see some of our old friends from the first book!

I've read a few other reviews with people saying the first half didn't feel like Luc and Oliver but the last half did and I disagree, haha. I really loved the first half of this book, and I was so glad to be connecting more with this book than the first. Then, the last 15% or so switched it up on me and I just wasn't enjoying myself anymore.

If you liked Boyfriend Material, I do think you'll enjoy this as well. Luc and Oliver are still Luc and Oliver, getting into crazy scenarios and squabbling and being in love. There's still some of the most frustrating joke banter (Come on, Twaddle!), and it does have a lot of the same feels as the first book. For me, though, the ending just dampened my enjoyment of it.

I am a very simple creature. You tell me a story is gay and has fake dating and they were roommates and I'm on board almost immediately. 

I was so excited to pull this arc out of a box and I started reading it within an hour and didn't want to stop. Neil and Wyatt are just incredibly opposite (grumpy/sunshine!!) and I adored them going from enjoying annoying one another to friends to more. Neil is a prickly little thing, and I loved reading through his POV. Especially in a few instances where he'd done or said something rude or uncomfortable, seeing Neil work through it was just really well done. That does not mean it's not frustrating as hell sometimes (he's SO CLOSE to getting it SO MANY times), but the journey is there and really nice to see Neil go through. 

Wyatt, however has never done a thing wrong in their life and I adore them. I really love the way Wyatt is just themselves throughout this whole book, never wavering even when Neil is being Neil and trying to push them away. There is a lot here with both Neil and Wyatt figuring things out and working through their stuff and I just really love this story. My heart felt full and happy when I finished, and I don't know what more you could ask for in a story. Definitely a new favorite for me!

I am <i>filled</i> with such a biter sweetness over this trilogy coming to an end, but I honestly could not have envisioned a better way for Nicky's story to be wrapped up. Especially after that TERRIBLE cliffhanger book two ended on?? It is eventually resolved, and OH BOY IS THAT A DOOZY.

One of my all time favorite aspect's of Klune's writing is his ability to make me want to pass away from secondhand embarrassment for his characters, and Nicky. Sweet, sweet Nicky is so. damn. embarrassing. I'm one hundred percent sure I read at least 20% of this book through my fingers because I was MORTIFIED. I adore him. 

Nicky and Seth also are just so incredibly soft and still very much in love in this book and I just think that's neat.  I have loved watching Nick and Seth figure things out from book one, and seeing them together with their entire little mismatched found family kicking ass in this book is just SO MUCH. Also, can we just talk about my excessive amount of love for the Dad Squad and their mission to embarrass their children? Because, I LOVE. SO MUCH. Also, Burrito Jerry. Oh man, are ya'll gonna love Burrito Jerry.

Truly, this was such a joy and the best way I could see things ending for Team Lighthouse. I'm so excited to have this complete trilogy on my shelves.
