This book does some great things. At times it was a bit of a slog, but it does pick up and win you round soon enough!!

This was a really interesting and informative read.

The audiobook is so beautiful; the sounds of nature alongside the wonderful poetry was fantastic. I really enjoyed listening to this and would happily listen to more!

I enjoyed this, but found myself a little confused for most of it. I think this was really setting up the third book and developing relationships, so there were moments where it just felt a little slow.

A PERFECT conclusion to this duology. The relationships between the characters are beautiful with some of the best banter. It's not all rainbows and butterflies, there's tension and friction and chaos aplenty. Seamless queer romances, brilliant banter and enough tension to make putting down the book near impossible.

What was with the random sci-do twist? If I hadn’t read and loved I Am Pilgrim then I probably would have loved this one. But after years of waiting, this just wasn’t what I expected.

This was genuinely such an empowering, inspiring and wonderful book. Sonora Reyes can do no wrong.
informative slow-paced

I’d have liked a little more focus on the stories, there was a lot of scene-setting and explanations that I think most readers could have understood.

At times this was a little dense and a bit of a slog to push through, but really interesting and informative.
