Lost me in the last 150. Wanda and Sophie were the best part of the book. I hate the third act breakup BS like 90% of the time because it’s for DUMB reasons. Give me a GOOD reason. An ANGSTY reason. Disappointing bc The Fake Mate was so good.

Kinda slow to start. Last 200 pages were a breeze though. Cried bc the adoption stuff since I’m adopted. Tired of hearing “Bub” as a term of endearment though.
