Super charming book with great characters. It's very cozy and such an easy read. My main complaint is that everything happened so fast. We couldn't sit in the moment.

I went into this book expecting to enjoy it, and I did. I didn't love it, but it was a fun read with a great world and great characters. The magic system was VERY interesting. My biggest complaint is that the months are our months. Felt very uncreative.

I sadly didn't really like the characters and felt there was no chemistry between them. However, I liked the plot and enjoyed the ending! I just wish there was more of a spark.

Really enjoyed this book. Honestly, the world-building was so good. The world created was so unique. It has got to be one of my favorite worlds I've ever read. There are some spoilers stuff I didn't enjoy, but I really wanna dive into this world again.

WOW WOW WOW! What a fun book! Amina al-Sirafi might be one of my all-time fave characters now. Amazing cast of characters. Fun adventures. Just everything I wanted. I had so much fun listening to this book, and the audiobook has a lot of fun editing! Highly rec!

It is actually painful to not give Emily Henry 5 stars, but not even she can get me to enjoy the miscommunication trope. Just TALK TO EACH OTHER! It was written beautifully, but since it had one of my least fave tropes, I just can't love this book.
