Listen, I liked the plot, but it all happened too fast. This whole book was a rush. Things just happened out of nowhere with little to no explanation. It could've been so much better, but it fell short.

I really wanted to enjoy this but I didn't even understand half of the stories. I didn't get the point. What were they trying to teach us? Some weren't even about motherhood, as I expected.

This was pretty slow at first and wasn't as exciting as her other books. 

So informative and insightful. I appreciate all the research that went into this, the personal stories, and the time and energy. 

You better like Shakespeare, or else this book might not be for you. Interesting mystery, and interesting way to tell it. But it got long and drawn out.

It took me awhile to get into the book. But this book would've been so much better if we had MORE octopus!

I think too many years have passed for me for this series. I wasn't as engrossed as I wanted to be. It felt fell off. There was too much new for a final book, and I just wasn't vibing with it.

This was a lot of fun! The world is so interesting and I liked the characters. However, there was some POVs I felt weren't needed, and the romantic relationship felt rushed.

I truly did enjoy the plot and characters. I thought it had some truly creepy moments, but it was so slow. Almost painfully so. So many plot points could've been removed. But there were good parts. I wish those were more of a focus.

I can definitely see how this book isn't for everyone, seeing how it a bit slow, but I liked it. I enjoyed the slow build up for all the creepy things. I really wanted to know what was happening in this town.
